Software Engineer

Michael has been with Specific Energy since he graduated from The University of Texas with a degree in Civil Engineer in 2016. Michael’s role as a software engineer has focused on bringing Specific Energy’s pump management system to wastewater systems as well as consulting with utilities about integration of Specific Energy’s technology. He leads the development of the Lift Station Guardian, a controller that combines simplicity with high performance data analytics to operate and lifts stations reliably and intelligently. Before coming to Specific Energy, Michael was a research engineer for the University of Texas focusing on water resources and hydraulics.
